Different metrics used to evaluate marketing activities’ effectiveness, such as return on marketing investment, customer satisfaction, market share analysis and other significant metrics are explored. By applying the alignment of each metric to specific marketing activities, the classification of the compelling marketing metrics is presented. The discussion on the selection of relevant evaluation techniques is based on relation to business goals and objectives, shaping its marketing strategies and impact on budget al.ocation. Theoretical investigations in the research field propose that emphasising the significance of regularly evaluating the success of marketing efforts, employing appropriate effectiveness evaluation metrics, helps to make informed decisions and enhance future marketing activities.

Sosnovika, Lana
There is a growing interest in understanding the context of the correct implementation of management styles or behaviors from management toward their employees. Due to the current fast-changing political, economic and social environment, which has an immense influence on employee goals, values and satisfaction levels, companies have to focus on understanding and determining employee satisfaction in order to improve productivity, which will support their strategic and economic goal achievements. The objective of this study was to investigate the most relevant and appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the correlation between employee motivation and employee satisfaction based on the examples of large German companies. The result of the study showed that if there is a high degree of employee satisfaction and commitment to their job, it has a high influence on the success and profitability of the company. At the end of the study, the researcher developed a set of recommendations considered necessary to achieve a better level of employee satisfaction and company performance.

<summary type="text">The role of authorities and economic activities in telework adoption
Șerban, Andreea Claudia; Gherghina, Elena Mădălina
In the context in which the authorities implemented or recommended physical distancing measures given the context generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the teleworking approach was encouraged. Moreover, teleworking was the only solution for some companies to continue their business. Under these circumstances, it was a real challenge for both employees and employers to adapt quickly and successfully to the new context. Similarly, the authorities had an important role to play. This study aims at examining the relationship between the telework adoption in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and two independent factors to the internal organisation of businesses: the existence of a specific legislative framework on telework adopted by authorities, and teleworkability at macroeconomic level, considering that some economic sectors are more flexible than others in terms of their response. For this analysis, an econometric model of multifactorial linear regression is used, including quantitative and qualitative variables for 26 Member States of the European Union (except Sweden) for 2020. The results show that there is a positive relationship between the teleworking in 2020 and the share of the employment in the teleworkable sectors on the one hand, and the level of adoption of teleworking in the pre-pandemic period on the other hand.
