<description>New interpretation of process of formation of tractive effort of the locomotive
Koblov, Roman; Novachuk, Iaroslav; Egorov, Petr
Work purpose: to specify the gear of formation of tractive effort of the wheel-motor block of a locomotive.&#13;
On the basis of classical provisions of theoretical mechanics and the fundamental theory of kinematics, new reading of the gear of education and calculation of power criteria which allow to model a priori dynamics of interaction of the rolling stock and a way is offered. The new view on the gear of formation of tractive effort allows to specify criteria of dynamics of the movement of the wheel-motor block of the locomotive

<description>Methodology for analyzing capacity and level of service for roundabouts with one lane (HCM 2000)
Nedevska, Ivana; Ognjenović, Slobodan; Murgul, Vera
As the motorization augments in urban areas, different solutions are required, considering the traffic network. In order to adjust the urban arrangement with the need for mobility, complex process of planning and designing is required. City development contains adequate incertitude which causes difficulty during the process of planning and designing. According to this, the process of planning and designing the city infrastructure network are mutually connected and inevitable. Traffic planning is a base of successful functioning in urban areas. With adequate analysis about city development and traffic, the planning process can begin, and be followed by the designing process and building the traffic network. Analysis of capacity and level of service are necessary, in order to obtain the delay of the analyzed facilities. These analyses can be empirical and analytical. The empirical model is based on regression analysis, and the analytical model uses the gap – acceptance theory. Empirical models provide better results, but can be used in cases where few roundabouts are congested, to calibrate the model. Othewise, gap – acceptance methods are used to analyze uncongested roundabouts.

<description>Contamination and “self-cleaning” of soils, boarded on the objects of automobile and road complex, from petroleum products
Iurchenko, Valentina; Melnikova, Oxana; Mikhaylova, Larysa; Lebedeva, Elena
In experimental studies it is found that the petrol stations create the highest specific (based on 1 car traffic) emissions and contamination by petroleum products these pollutants of surrounding areas soils among the objects of the auto-road complex. Activity of soil “self-cleaning” from the petrochemicals depends on the concentration of organic carbon, which increases the activity of soil oxidoreductase enzymes carrying the oxidative degradation of hydrocarbons among the objects of the auto-road complex.
