dc.description.abstract | The proposed study investigates the application of Genetic Algorithms with RNA Editing mecanism to CAD-based structure optimization problems. The study results show the ability of GA with RNA Editing to strengthen the optimization and avoid the effects of hitchhiking, which are most likely to occur in CAD-entity based parameterization, especially in case of the big number of the big number of mechanical features. This lets to optimize sophisticated mechanical structures in shorter time and with higher accuracy. | eng |
