The medium-cement refractory castable-a promising material for thermal power units

Abstract

The effect of adding microsilica (0 – 10%) on the physicomechanical properties of refractory medium-cement castables with grog-based fillers is studied. The optimum concentration of microsilica in the castable for practical applications is specified.
