Šviesoforais reguliuojamų sankryžų eismo saugumo ir laidumo vertinimas

Abstract

Mokslinių tyrimų rezultatai rodo, kad pagrindiniai eismo įvykiai miestuose nutinka sankryžose reguliuojamose šviesoforu. Pastaruoju metu plačiai diskutuojama apie šviesoforu reguliuojamos sankryžos modelį, kuomet šviesoforas papildomas žalios rodyklės lentele, leidžiančia sankryžoje sukti į dešinę pusę degant raudonam šviesoforo signalui. Diskusijų metu svarstomas šių lentelių reikalingumas bei jų įtaka eismo dalyvių saugumui, todėl svarbu išnagrinėti tokio tipo sankryžas eismo saugumo ir laidumo požiūriu. Išanalizavus mokslinę literatūrą pastebėta, kad Jungtinėse Amerikos Valstijose, Vokietijoje bei buvusiose Sovietų Sąjungos šalyse toks sankryžos modelis taikomas ir tinkamai įgyvendinamas. Moksliniame darbe atskleidžiamas šviesoforu su žalios rodyklės lentele reguliuojamos sankryžos poveikis eismo saugumui bei žalios rodyklės poveikis sankryžos laidumui. Tiriamojoje dalyje įvertinta papildomos žalios rodyklės lentelės įtaka teorinėse trišalėse ir keturšalėse šviesoforu reguliuojamose sankryžose, pateikiami modeliavimo rezultatai. Mokslinį darbą sudaro: įvadas, apžvalginė, analitinė ir eksperimentinė dalys, bendrosios išvados ir rekomendacijos, literatūros sąrašas. Darbo apimtis – 76 p., 45 iliustracijos., 14 lent., 31 bibliografinis šaltinis.

Scientific research shows that the main part of traffic accidents in the city happen at traffic light controlled intersections. Lately there has been quite a bit of discussion on a particular model of traffic light controlled intersections – one where the traffic light is accompanied by an additional green arrow that allows to make a right turn when the red light is on. The main points in these discussions are the necessity of green arrows and their impact on the safety of traffic participants. For these reasons it is crucial to analyze traffic light with a green arrow controlled intersections from road safety and conductivity standpoint. After studying the scientific literature it is clear that the United States of America, Germany and countries of the former Soviet Union have implemented this type of traffic light controlled intersection and it is properly functional. This study analyzes the traffic light with a green arrow controlled intersections effect on traffic safety and the impact of the additional green arrow on the intersections conductivity. The research part of the study estimates the effect of the green arrow on theoretical three way and four way intersections that are being controlled by traffic lights, and presents the results of the simulations. The study consists of: introduction, review, analytical and experimental parts, general conclusions and recommendations, literature list. The scope of the study – 76 pages, 45 illustrations, 14 tables, 31 bibliographic source.
