Abstract

The changes in business are very big in East Europe. These changes influence business perfomance which tends to drive trade and transport The close relationships between trade and transport must be created. Leeding firms are winning market by rising quality standards for products and service. To achieve new service standards firms need for third party logistics providers. They can be grouped, according to their integration between providers and shippers, into formal cooperation ventures, logistics joint ventures, joint ownership. This might be the main factor in the development toward transport and warehousing industry. Logistics service providers who want to offer their service on the international market must have extensive resourses and network of distribution points connected to the mush of transport services. In the future must be more extensive shipper/provider cooperative in the development of the operations. It must be defined all operationall detals and responsibilities, more extensive communications system between shiper and provider must be developed.
