Abstract

The aim of the author is to present by informal means a mobile information model of a fright terminal. It makes it easier for some specialists to realize the information process in case they are not directly concerned in various mathematical methods of information processes. The idea of a participant of the information system of freight terminals is presented, and various data structures are defined. These structures can be used to obtain an information unit of transportation on a terminal or interterminal level and on the basis of archive data base. A conceptual definition is given of the expedition tasks within the area served by one terminal as well as by those of the interterminal fright transport. The idea of strategic development of transport, its aims and some concrete examples are presented. The information unit principle of the transport system makes a long-term accumulation of data possible in all branches of transport. Thus, it enables to artificially model the process in advance, to use the same base to process the artificial data as well as estimating the future transportation system and possible shortcomings.
