When fuel is burning at a high temperature it forms nitrogen, oxide, from the free air nitrogen reacting, with oxygen. Nitrogen oxide reacts with water and produces acid rain. NO2 participates in the radical reaction and destroys the ozone layer. Different NO2 cleaning technology is widely used in the world now. However all these methods are expensive and need great expenditures as well as material investments, yet NO2 cleaning efficiency is not high. NO2 cleaning hinders other pollution: e.g. aerosols, dusts. Therefore if we want to clean the air from dust and aerosol we must put in electrostatic fillers. After these filters we have to add another block of filters to clean the air from NO2 bv adsorption methods. We need to select a good adsorbent which will lightly regenerate and the coefficient of adsorption will be high.eng
