At the present moment heat energy consumption in Lithuania in dwelling sector is twice bigger than in other European countries. Two panel buildings were chosen for estimation of heat energy. Both of them were built according to previous requirements and standards, but one of them was insulated with foreign thermoblocs company's. According to the calculations heal consumption in insulated building reduced approximately by 30%. This is confirmed bv the collection of metering data during the heating season of 1993-1994. taking into consideration (he difference of inside temperature in the two buildings.eng
