Currently, wood and agricultural wastes are used for biofuel production thus providing short-term benefits. The use of these waste materials in the production of thermal insulating materials would bring long-term benefits and access to sustainable and environmentally sound waste management. The simplest method of using wood waste in the form of sawdust is its use as loose-fill thermal insulation materials. When using loose-fill thermal insulation materials from wood sawdust, the most uniform insulating layer can be created. For effective use of loose-fill thermal insulating materials from wood waste requires the use of flame retardants, antiseptics, and water-repellent additives. This work reports results of a multicomponent suspension developed for pine sawdust, which improves physical properties. The multicomponent suspension was made of liquid glass, tung oil, and expanded graphite. The objective is to test if loose-fill thermal insulating materials from wood waste could be used as thermal insulations materials.eng
