dc.description.abstract | Fluid catalytic cracking catalyst waste (FCCCw) accounts for more than 800 thousand tons worldwide per a year [1]. It is known, that FCCCw significantly accelerates the hydration of aluminate cement [2]. Adding FCCCw and deflocculant to the mixture with aluminate cement, strength characteristics increase and denser material structure forms [3], but it is very important to know behavior of FCCCw during the treatment process. In this work are analysing properties of the FCCCw from Lithuanian oil refinery fired at temperature of 800–1300 oC and possibilities to use it for production of refractory materials. The research methods: XRF, XRD, SEM, DTA, particle size distribution and others were used. | eng |
