With the increase of urbanization we also have to focus on quality of life. Then, the production volumes increase. During the manufacturing process, potentially toxic elements are used and thus the environment is being polluted. When potentially toxic elements get into the water, they become able to affect the human health. There are strict requirements for water quality, and, in order to reduce the quantities of potentially toxic elements, different technologies are used. One way to reduce the pollution is adsorption. The adsorption models are widely used and described. A few years ago we also started working with the adsorption process. We started with the pore volume and surface diffusion model, presented in [1]. The mathematical model and the questions of approximation were analyzed [2]. Next, the adsorption of the potentially toxic elements on biochar was analyzed and the numerical and experimental results were compared [3]. Then we paid attention to the possibility of controlling the adsorption process, taking into account certain properties of the materials and used the models for new elements [4].eng
