dc.description.abstract | This Manual describes the most important regulations and key points of the Bachelor’s Theses when prepared according to the Mechanical Engineering study programme of Vilnius Gedimino Technical University. The Manual of Bachelor’s Final Thesis covers all major parts of the Thesis. At the Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 the recommendations on selection of the Topic and the Object were provided with further instructions on Explanatory Note. It covers the gramercy and typing rules on text, equations, pictures, graphs, drawings, tables and references. The Chapter 3 covers a broad range of topics, related to the Graphic Part of the Thesis. This part includes very basic things of engineering graphics such as lines, scales, title block, specification list of the drawing, materials of details and most common subjects of mechanical engineering such as tolerances, roughness, fits (Chapter 4) and diagrams (Chapter 5). The Chapter 6 presents the recommendations on Safety at Work and Environmental Regulations which are the obligatory part of the Thesis as well as the Cost Estimation of the Project presented at the Chapter 7. The important deadlines related to the Monitoring and Assessment of the Thesis are provided at the Chapter 8. Author of this Manual referenced 62 sources (incl. 47 standards), included in the text 19 figures, 9 tables and supplemented it with 5 annexes. | eng |
