dc.description.abstractOn 19-20 May 2011 the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University held the 8th International Conference on Environmental Engineering. 361 participants from 18 countries took part in the 8th International Conference and made presentations in 6 sections: Environmental Protection; Water Management and Hydraulics; Energy for Buldings; Sustainable Urban Development; Roads and Railways; Technologies of Geodesy and Cadastre. In the section Roads and Railways more than 65 participants took part representing 9 countries. In the section of Sustainable Urban Development more than 41 participant took part representing 8 countries.eng
