| dc.description.abstract | The article deals with the peculiarities of soil compaction on slopes which determine special requirements for compacting machines. The paper suggests to use trailer vibrorollers for compaction long slopes. The technique and results of the first experiments which have been carried out to determine the optimal parameters of vibrorollers intented to compact the soil slopes as well as compaction depth dependences (stress distribution in soil) on the steepness of slopes are submitted in the paper. The recomendations concerning the vibroroller type of operations are presented in the paper as well. | eng |
