dc.description.abstract | The paper analyses the effect of dolomite powder on properties and durability of clay brick. Clay bricks were made from the mix containing from 10 to 30 % of waste dolomite powder and fired at 1000 ?C temperatures. In this case, clay bricks density is 1.55 – 1.75 g/m3, compressive strength 14 – 28 MPa, water absorption 15.3 – 19.7 %, total porosity 31,0 – 40.4 %, durability (resistance to freezing and thawing) not less than 25 cycles. | eng |
