Abstract

The 13th Baltic Sea Geotechnical Conference will serve as a point of contact between researchers, engineers and practitioners acting in the geotechnical field. The conference will be structured along several topics. We welcome papers that describe original works, also papers may be submitted on advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques as well as general research papers indicating future directions. Papers will be accepted based on their quality, relevance to the theme of the conference and originality. The agenda of the conference will cover both oral and poster presentations. The volume contains the selected papers from these thematic areas: geotechnical art and historical experiences; soil and rock investigation; design experiences and theoretical solutions; geoenvironmental engineering; case studies; foundation construction and transport infrastructure. All papers are reviewed by two appointed experts.
