| dc.description.abstract | Šio Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto (VGTU) profesoriaus sąskaitoje – jau beveik šimtas įvairių patentų ir daugybė monografijų. Būtent jo iniciatyva VGTU po Nepriklausomybės atgavimo buvo įkurta Aplinkos apsaugos katedra bei pradėti dabar itin populiarūs su aplinkosauga susiję tyrimai. Jis – VGTU mokslininkas prof. habil. dr. Pranas Baltrėnas – neabejoja mūsų šalyje dar jauno, bet jau stiprų pagrindą turinčio aplinkosaugos mokslo ateitimi ir teigia, jog kiekvienas turime įnešti savo indėlį siekdami, kad mūsų planeta būtų švari ir saugi. Belaukiant Lietuvos šimtmečiui dedikuoto 100-ojo patento kalbamės su profesoriumi. | lit |
| dc.description.abstract | This Vilnius Gediminas Technical University’s (VGTU) professor has almost 100 patents and numerous monographs under his belt. It was his initiative to open the Department of Environmental Protection at VGTU after the restoration of independence of Lithuania. It also signifies the beginning of currently so popular research on environmental protection. He – VGTU’s professor Pranas Baltrėnas – believes in the future of research on environmental protection in Lithuania and thinks that everyone should contribute to keeping our planet clean and safe. “Among my inventions I would highlight a bio-filter (EU patent). The filter’s unique technology enables us to control pollution quantities and contributes to climate change mitigation,” says P. Baltrėnas while he waits for his 100th patent dedicated to commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of the state. | eng |
