| dc.description.abstract | In the text, attention is paid only to "corner", "key" buildings of Kaunas, which had raised discussions, those of high quality marking the emerging trends. During the decade, stylistics of buildings had varied - we had deconstructionism, somewhere "deconstructed" modernism was expressed, etc. Architects of younger generation are infatuated by the new simplicity. There are also discussed connections of Kaunas architecture with the pas and with present development of architecture in Lithuania. Our colleagues are marching towards a further stage of expansion of architecture in Kaunas. | eng |
