dc.description.abstractThe analysis was conducted on exterior investigations of spun concrete poles for electric power transmission live supports, maintained for 30 years. It was established, that in reinforced concrete masts of supports for overhead electric power transmission lines, after a 30 years period of maintenance, defects and deteriorations occur, the most characteristic of them being vertical cracks beside longitudinal reinforcing bars and naked longitudinal reinforcement. The technical condition of spun concrete masts of annular cross-section was found better, more reliable and durable, compared to vibrated reinforced concrete masts maintained for the equal perion of time. It was also determined that water-soluble superplasticiers C-3 have a positive effects on the durability of spun concrete exposed to aggressive environmental actions.eng
