dc.description.abstractIn this paper is analysed deformations of ancient churches in Vilnius and in Koenigsberg (Kaliningrad). Foundations of both cathedrals were build on weak soils. Deformation of Vilnius cathedral give too much cracks in structures. Underpinning with bored piles of Vilnius cathedral in years 1932-1937 give good results. Settlements od Koenigsberg cathedral is approximately 2,0 m in time of 6 centuries. This cathedral is not underpined but rebuild after second world war demolitions.eng
