dc.description.abstractAn effective knowledge transfer between higher education institutions and industry could lead to the solutions and innovations that societies and economies need in time of the world financial and economic crisis. The aim of the research is to identify existing models of knowledge transfer and analyze the current situation in Lithuanian higher education environment. For this purpose the main characteristics of knowledge product and services were distinguished, knowledge transfer models such as knowledge production, diffusion, relationship and engagement were analyzed and the level of implementation of the listed models in Lithuania assessed.eng
