dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a two-dimensional-in-space mathematical model of amperometric biosensors with perforated and selective membranes. The model is based on the di usion equations containing a nonlinear term of the Michaelis-Menten enzymatic reaction. The problem was solved numerically using nite-di erence technique. Using numerical simulation of the biosensors action, the in uence of the geometry of the perforated membrane on the biosensor response was investigated.eng
