Abstract

This article deals with the problems an analysis of which has been started in No 1(21) of the Journal “Town Planning and Architecture”. Relationship among spatial composition elements associated with the type of composition and the character of observation points is considered on the basis of the following aspects: - perception transformation of a separate object scale in accordance with its certain location in space; - perception transformation of environmental objects scale owing to the visual integration process of “layers” with scale variations. An analysis of the types of spatial structures is made assumming the following approaches of: - an “unlimited” Form phenomenon; - a first-plan Form, a Form with an opening; - elements of local space formation, “the stalls” in front of a building; - volume lining, Form profiling.
