Many countries widely use wood in construction. In order to protect wood from the impact of environmental factors and to reduce its combustibility the chemical means such as antiseptic and fire retardant solutions are used. Wood of spruce and pine being the most popular in construction is investigated in this work while non-treated and treated with antiseptic solution.
