dc.description.abstract | High spatial mobility of the atmosphere and intensive mixing of air layers result in significantly higher pollution of the atmosphere than that of other biosphere zones. The most effective way of reducing the industrial air pollution is the application of closed technological processes and of production without wastes. The basic means of reducing the industrial air pollution is the utilization of an efficient air purification system, its improvement and development. Phenol and formaldehyde belong to the organic substances the world production of which reaches millions of tons, thousands of tons of these substances being ejected into the atmosphere during technological processes. The objective of the investigation is to improve the equipment for purification of air polluted with phenol and formaldehyde. | eng |
