dc.description.abstract | In the article, the possibilities of forecasting the durability of facing materials in structures and differentiation of maintenance categories of these materials are being developed in respect of their resistance to freezing (by their grading) under the peculiarities of Lithuanian climate, when the duration of our field investigations is 25 years. It was established by our research that the span of field experiments has some influence on the interdependence between the durability of ceramic brick facing, the brick grade according to the maintenance resistance to freezing and the damaged area of facing in outer brickwork. It is suggested that for facing needs five maintenance condition categories and corresponding five freezing resistance grades should be distinguished. | eng |
