dc.description.abstractRealization of quality management functions is very specific in different organizations. Particular features disclosed by the author in his practical work activities, scientific research and discussions with managers of Lithuanian organizations are the subject of the article. Quality of material products, goods can be evaluated the best because the possibility to measure the execution of all the management functions beginning with planning and ending with control has a very clear and exact base. Managing of the quality of services is much more complicated because of the subjectivity of evaluation caused by the participation of a client in the very process of operations.. Managing of the quality of an intellectual product is complicated because of the shortage of scientifically elaborated methods of evaluation and high individuality of its manifestation. Motivation and controlling of a quality creation process is dependent on the personal psychological features of highly qualificated professionals. Managing of the quality has the most elaborated methodical ground and the richest practical experience in organizations using sequential technology. Quality of a product must be described very clearly and this description must be spread widely among consumers and suppliers in organizations using mediating technology, where the product is the same work object and the main problem is to ensure the stability of quality characteristics during the transformation process, management of the quality of products produced in organizations using intensive technology can be realized copying improvising style of management of the very operating process and needs using brain teamwork methods. The very process of quality controlling can be mechanized or even automatized in process organizations or operating mass scale, where investments to these operations can be economically efficient because of great scale.
