The analysis of an enterprise crisis and the treatment of its stages made by various scientists and their conclusions are presented in the article. It can be affirmed that an enterprise crisis develops gradually. It starts and deepens passing several stages. It is rather difficult to distinguish when one stage finishes and the other begins. That is why we cannot draw the limit between the adjacent stages of a crisis. These stages can only be described like negative tendencies showing the approach of a crisis. The following main stages of a crisis can be indicated: light, deep and financial catastrophe. If necessary any of these stages can be differentiated. Corresponding crisis ruling means should be used under different circumstances of crisis dimensions.eng
