| dc.description.abstract | The article contains a research report delivered at the 5th International Conference “Environmental Engineering” held on May 2002 in VGTU, Vilnius. It gives an overview of some problems in traffic and urban development in Lithuania and East Germany after the collapse of the Soviet Union. It is impossible to describe deeply all the problems in one article, and this one can be just the beginning of a discussion.
