One of the main reasons of sustainable development of Šiauliai communication system is the existing urban structure, location of the living-places and work-places of the inhabitants noncompact urban territory development, the existing city boundaries, which make the urban services be also provided to the suburban areas. With an economic point of view of a communication system such centers should be concentrated closer to public transport routes, existing bus-stops and especially final stations. With regard to traffic safety, the centers should not be located on both sides of main streets in order to avoid thick and intensive cross connections of passengers and buyers. [....].eng
