dc.description.abstractThe article deals with the use of motorin in the world supplying general data available nowadays. There is a description of petrol-etanol-water mixture that was fused in the laboratory estimating its stability and the grade of octane. The detonation resistance of a petrol with the additives of 10-25 percent of a spirit is increased up to ten percent. The authors analyse the results of the marginal quantity of etanol (with additives) for four-cycle engine when nothing is changed in the combustion and fuel supply system when the engine runs idle. Two sorts of motorin have been tested in short distance experiments. Operations expenditure of the fuel and quality of the work of the engines was defined in this experiment. The best results are received testing fuels with 20% alcohol addition. The average charge of a fuel was increased about 10 percent. The quantity WITH in gases has consi-derably decreased.eng
