Neo-liberalism and the government economic policy

Abstract

The neo-liberal ideas and incorporation of them into recommended policy packages by international financial institutions, irrespective of the nature and the stage of development in a particular society, its socio-political configuration, and its administrative capabilities have come to be criticized. The critics of the neo-liberals can be broadly categorized into four groups: The Development Economists; The Structuralists; The UN Affiliates; The Dependency Theorists. Neo liberals have developed two schools of thought: The Free Market School; Agnostics School. The search for the successful economic policies may well be futile if the arguments of the critics of neo-liberals are not taken into account.

Neoliberalų idėjos ir jų propagavimas, kai įtakingos tarptautinės organizacijos rekomenduoja įvairioms šalims vykdyti panašią ekonomminę politiką, su tuo siedamos savo paramą, susilaukė kritikos.
