Robertas Dargis – vienos didžiausių Lietuvoje nekilnojamojo turto plėtros ir statybos įmonių grupės „Eika“ įkūrėjas bei valdybos pirmininkas, bendrovės „Eika“ generalinis direktorius, kuriam neseniai patikėtas ir Lietuvos pramoninkų konfederacijos vairas, su nostalgija prisimena studijų tuomečiame VISI metus. Ypač dalyvavimą pučiamųjų instrumentų orkestro „Inžinerija“ veikloje. Kitąmet sueis trisdešimt metų, kai R. Dargis užvėrė universiteto duris. Pasidomėjus, ar norisi vėl visiems studijų draugams susiburti, pasidalyti prisiminimais, VGTU absolventas ir buvęs grupės seniūnas neabejoja – susitikimas tikrai įvyks.lit
Robertas Dargis, a founder and Chief Executive of a construction company “Eika” who has also been committed recently to lead the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists, claims that the most important thing in life is to find some time and ask yourself what is your true way of life. Very often people run from this issue and avoid addressing it. How do you imagine yourself after 5 years? It is very often to receive the answer that he or she has not considered this yet. Why do you live on this Earth? What is your goal? Is it to eat, to travel, or to buy a better car? If you do not ask this yourself, your life will pass by and you will not accomplish anything. On the other hand, the greatest human’s aim is to serve for the society. If you can do something to change the society, you should know that your mission on the Earth has been accomplished. As VGTU graduate puts it, we all are still confused, looking for our ways of life. When asked when we are going to build our real statehood, he answered that first of all, we should tidy up our stairwells and understand that they belong to all of us. This is the reason why they must be beautiful, tidy and full of blossoming flowers. Then I would say - now let’s go out from a stairwell to create our state!eng
