Mūsų pokalbio metu laboratorijoje taip pat verda gyvenimas. Kiek kitoks, matuojamas megapaskaliais, vertinamas atliktais tyrimais ir jų rezultatais, todėl ne mokslininko akiai sunkiai įžiūrimas ir įvertinamas. | lit |
dc.description.abstract | The head of the Department of Reinforced Concrete and Mansonry Structures prof. dr. Juozas Valivonis could continually talk about lab equipment for building construction and experiments which are carried out by students and graduates. The professor leading as through the laboratory of the Department of Reinforced Concrete and Mansonry Structures which has a rare equipment for building construction experiments rushes to show us a unique and versatile stand for different building construction experiments which is of 2000 kN capacity. This 15 metres equipment can even simulate earthquakes. This is the only experiment equipment of such capacity among the Baltic countries. Today, the laboratory of the Department of Reinforced Concrete and Mansonry Structures and its research laboratories are a part of the Centre of Civil Engineering Research of the Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park. According to the head of the laboratory, a close partnership between business and the university is the most direct way to keep a competitive edge and adapt to altering conditions of a market. Industrialists, who are interested in scientific research, can address researchers of the laboratory. Currently, research is carried out on hollow, monolithic, reinforced concrete ceiling used for multi-storey buildings. This research work is done along with a joint stock company “Panevėžio statybos trestas”. | eng |
