dc.description.abstractThe World Wide Web (WWW) continues to grow at an amazing rate in both the sheer volume of traffic and size and complexity of Web sites. The complexities of tasks such as Web site design, Web server design, and of aply navigating through a Web site have increased along with this growth. An important question to these design tasks is the analysis of how a Web site is being used. Web usage mining is the application of data mining techniques to cover usage patterns from Web data, in order to understand and better serve the needs of Web-based applications, is paper presents data mining potential for Vilnius Gediminas Technical University's Web site analysis.eng
