Using Navier-Stokes equations the process of blood flow was examined. For modelling and calculations ANSYS software was used. The following pathologies were explored: 50 %, 75 % and 90 % stenosis of blood vessel. The velocity of blood flow as well as pressure and stresses were examined. It was defined that the increase in the velocity of hlood flow causes pressure and stresses, which may lead to the rapture of the blood vessel.eng
