Study aim: To evaluate possible differences in indirect measurement of bravery resulting from applying various methods. Material and Methods: The following groups of subjects were studied: 97 female 1st year students (various studies), 126 police officers, 33 cadets, 118 guard officers, 27 fire-fighters and 50 mountain life-savers. Two techniques were used: verbal simulation (KK 98 ques-tionnaire) and exposition simulation (projection test, KS-4M). Results: Highest bravery was recorded in Lithuanian guard officers practicing combat sports and lowest in female students, when either the KK-98 questionnaire or weighted average from both questionnaires were used. Conclusion: In order to determine the bravery, weighted average values obtained by both methods render the most accurate results.eng
