Conceptual graphs have already gained a lot of attention in business knowledge management research. Conceptual graphs have several equivalent notations suitable for human communication and for interchange between computer systems. We argue that using conceptual graphs it is possible to implement the automatic business rules enforcement mechanism and present the technique for business rules modeling and implementation based on conceptual graphs usage. The presented technique employs active databases as the rules enforcement technology, also allowing the possibility of rules sharing or exchange through the business rules repository in XML format.eng
