Recently housing market prices are highly increased in Lithuania. Such situation is caused mostly by macro economic factors. However, prices of housing are very different in separate regions. The differences in pricing amounted even 10 times in different district. Such situation is also caused by distinguishes in regional development in transitional period. Therefore, it's necessary to improve and support regional policies in order to create better housing markets in different regions. The important way is to increase investments to the regions (and for building renovation), and to improve the effectiveness of using of the existing housing sources. For the achievement of these goals the internal investments and EU funds should be used.eng
