dc.description.abstract | The article deals with flame spray Ni-Cr coatings on structural steel S235 substrate. Before spraying substrate surfaces were processed mechanically. Coatings were sprayed using Ni-Cr and Ni-Cr-WC spray powder of different chemical composition and additional substrate heating up to 250‒290°C. Microstructure, porosity, hardness, friction coefficient and wear resistance of created coatings Ni-Cr and Ni-Cr-WC were examined. Influence of coating chemistry and WC carbides on various physical, tribological parameters of coatings was evaluated and dependencies of such coating characteristics were determined. | eng |
