dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a two-dimensional-in-space mathematical model of amperometric biosensors with perforated and selective membranes acting under internal and external diffusion limitations. The model is based on non-linear reaction-diffusion equations. Using numerical simulation the influence of the geometry of the biosensor as well as of the external diffusion region on the biosensor response was investigated. | eng |
