dc.description.abstractSustainability is often applied to communities, development, and natural resource management. Sustainable public tourism is tourism that meets the above definition of sustainability and uses local participation processes to justify planning and management decisions. Location binding is associated with experience and good knowledge. Two components of location binding: location dependence and location identity. The identity of a place involves the formation of an emotional connection. Participation in activities is a positive predictor of the identity of the place, as repeated participation leads to the accumulation of memories that contribute to the self-identity of the individual.People define themselves separately from the activities they engage in and their relationships with other people.
