dc.description.abstractTo perform the calibration of total stations under laboratory conditions, lack of space is a common issue. The paper presents the analysis of applied solutions for short distance measurements and assumptions of the construction development of a linear test bench for cyclic error determination. Various aspects of improvement are explained in the paper, and the preliminary design of a linear test bench being developed at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University is presented.eng
