Baigiamajame magistriniame darbe analizuojama, kokią įtaką turėjo pasikeitusios socialinės - ekonominės sąlygos, vartotojiškos kultūros visuomenėje atsiradimas bei vertybių devalvacija mokytojo socialiniam statusui visuomenėje atkūrus nepriklausomybę Lietuvoje. Išanalizuojamas ir įvertinamas mokytojo socialinis statusas istoriniame, socialiniame bei ekonominiame visuomenės raidos kontekste. Atliktu kiekybiniu ir kokybiniu tyrimu atskleidžiamas Vilniaus miesto mokytojų požiūris į mokytojo profesijos socialinį statusą bei išsiaiškinamas atskirų Vilniaus miesto visuomenės grupių požiūris į mokytojo profesijos socialinį statusą. Išnagrinėjus teorinius ir praktinius mokytojų socialinio statuso visuomenėje aspektus, pateikiamos baigiamojo darbo išvados ir siūlymai. Darbą sudaro 5 dalys: įvadas, teorinė dalis, tyrimas, išvados ir siūlymai, literatūros sąrašas. Darbo apimtis - 72 p. teksto be priedų, 8 paveikslėliai, 22 lentelės, 41 bibliografinis šaltinis. Atskirai pridedami darbo priedai. In the final master thesis it is analyzed what influence had the changed social - economic conditions, the coming of consumer culture in society, the devaluation of valuables on the social status of the teacher after re-creating the independence in Lithuania. The social status of the teacher is analyzed and evaluated in the historic, social and economic contexts of the evolution of society. By done quantitative and qualitative research the attitude of teachers in Vilnius town on the social status of the teacher‘s profession is revealed and the attitude of the representatives of separate society groups of Vilnius town on the social status of the teacher‘s profession is ascertained. After analyzing theoretical and practical aspects of the teachers‘ social status in society there are given conclusions and suggestions of the final thesis. The thesis consists of five parts: preface, theoretical part, research, conclusions and suggestions, a list of the literature. The amount of the thesis – 72 p. of the text without appendixes, 8 pictures, 22 charts, 41 bibliographical source. Appendixes are added separately.
