Armuoto lengvojo betono sijų įtempių ir deformacijų būvio analizė
Abstract
In many countries reinforced concrete is the most popular building material for transport infrastructure. However, the dead load of transport structure highly increases due to concrete structures self-weight, which in turn leads to higher construction costs. One of the directions, which can be improved concrete constructions – usage of reinforced lightweight concrete which self-weight is less up to 40 %. However, the wider usage of reinforced lightweight concrete is limited due to lack of physical models and design methods. Aim of the thesis – to perform stress-strain analysis of reinforced lightweight concrete beams under short-term loading. Master’s thesis consists of four main parts: review of physical models and analytical methods of lightweight concrete and its elements; mixture design of lightweight concrete; experimental research on reinforced lightweight concrete beams; obtaining a stress-strain relationships for cracked tensile concrete. Experimental (8 reinforced lightweight concrete beams were tested), analytical (LST EN 1992-1-1:2004; STR 2.05.05:2005) and numerical (ATENA, MATLAB, EMMA) methods has been used in present research. The obtained results showed that the traditional design methods do not always adequately evaluate the behavior of the beams.
