Kultūrinių funkcijų raiška miesto erdvinėje struktūroje

Abstract

Pagrindinė disertacijos mintis suformuluota remiantis rumunų kilmės vokiečių architekto Günterio Zampo Kelpo architektūros kaip įvykio idėja bei ispanų sociologo Manuelio Castellso tinklaveikos visuomenės studija ir skamba taip: informacijos amžiuje, paslaugų ekonomiką keičiant ekonomikai, kuri remiasi kūrybiškumu ir kuri sutampa su naujomis socialinėmis visuomenės transformacijomis (šeimos instituto, valstybės ir patriarchalizmo krize), miestą imame suvokti ne tiek kaip formą, kiek kaip įvykį. Šios transformacijos ašis – kultūra ir kūrybiškumas – disertaciniame darbe įvardytos kaip kultūrinės funkcijos, o jų sklaidos laukas – miesto erdvinė struktūra. Kultūrinių funkcijų raiška miesto erdvinėje struktūroje nagrinėjama postmaterialistinės pasaulėžiūros ir vėlyvojo kapitalizmo sąlygomis. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, trys dalys, išvados, literatūros sąrašas ir priedai. Įvade pristatoma darbo struktūra ir turinys. Pirmoje darbo dalyje nagrinėjama teorinė kultūrinių funkcijų samprata. Šią dalį sudaro trys skyriai: kultūrinių funkcijų kontekstas, tyrimo kryptis ir tyrimo metodika. Pirmos dalies gale pateikiamas kultūrinių funkcijų objektas. Antroje darbo dalyje tiriamas miesto kultūrinis potencialas. Čia aptariama kultūrinių funkcijų koncepcija, identifikuojamos nominaliosios vertės ir jų sistema, aiškinamasi kultūrinio potencialo sąrangos principai ir pristatomas Vilniaus kultūrinio potencialo natūrinis tyrimas. Trečioje darbo dalyje nagrinėjamos kultūrinių funkcijų raiškos formos ir modeliai, aiškinamasi jų plėtros sąlygos. Didelis dėmesys skiriamas raiškos formų arsenalui. Jį formuojantys baziniai modeliai tiriami pasitelkus klasikinius užsienio šalių pavyzdžius. Tolesnės urbanistinio kultūros planavimo perspektyvos atskleidžiamos istorinių XX a. miestų kultūros planavimo paradigmų šviesoje. Paskutinis darbo akcentas – miesto kultūrinio karkaso modelis, integruojantis atskiras teorinio darbo dalis ir iliustruojantis kultūrinių funkcijų sąveikos mechanizmą miesto erdvinėje struktūroje.

The main idea of the dissertation, formulated on the basis of an idea of ar-chitecture as event presented by Günter Zamp Kelp, a German architect of Ro-manian background, and a study on a network society of a Spanish sociologist Manuel Castells, goes as follows: at the Information age when service economy is being replaced by the economy based on creativity and coincident with new social transformations of the society (a crisis of family institution, state and patri-archalism), we start perceiving a city more as an event rather than a form. In this dissertation the axis of this transformation – culture and creativity – is called cul-tural functions, meanwhile the dissemination area – the city’s spatial structure. The expression of cultural functions in the city’s spatial structure was examined under the conditions of late capitalism which was strongly influenced by post-materialist outlooks. The dissertation consists of an introduction, three main chapters, the conclu-sion, a list of references and several appendices. The introduction presents the structure and contents of the work. The first chapter includes an analysis of the theoretical concept of cultural functions. This chapter consists of three parts: the context of cultural functions, the tendencies and the methods for their research. The final part of the first chapter displays the object of cultural functions. The second chapter of the work is an analysis of the cultural potential of the city. It discusses the concept of cultural functions, identifies nominal values and their system, explains the principles of arranging the cultural potential, and presents a field research of the cultural potential of Vilnius. The third chapter of the disser-tation examines the forms and models of expression for cultural functions, as well as describes the conditions for their development. This chapter devotes close attention to the arsenal of forms of expression. The basic models shaping this arsenal are investigated by using the classical examples from other countries. Further prospects for cultural planning reveal in the light of the paradigms of urban cultural planning in the 20th century. Finally, the thesis puts emphasis on the model for an urban cultural framework that integrates separate parts of the theoretical work and illustrates the mechanism for interaction of cultural fuctions in the spatial structure of the city.
