Abstract
The problems of automated design, multiple criteria analysis and the selection of the best variant of the life process of a project (the location and the construction site, the type of the building, the design and construction companies, building, production and maintenance processes, etc. are considered) are discussed. Some methods of design of effective projects are presented. Thus the needs of all the parties involved (owners, design and construction companies, tenants, procurers, workers and employees of production process, buyers of this product, etc.) are satisfied. The selection of the best project is accomplished by the multiple criteria decision-making methods. The techniques make it possible to develop various algorithms, computer programs, data bases, manuals, etc. which help ensure an efficient life process of project.
