Several different automatic systems (operating while the train is running) are used in Europe to detect wagons wheel damages. They are adapted to different methods of data collection and processing. During the exploitation, data from different systems are encountered. The data collection and aggregation results should be verified as equivalent (comparable). The authors of the article compare the effectiveness of different automatic systems for detecting wheel damage and present their results.eng
