The reseach aim was to produce a model for a complex analysis of a building life cycle. This model was being developed step by step as follows: quantitative and conceptual descriptipn of the project; development of a complex database based on quantitative and conceptual definition of the project; development of mew methods of multiple criteria analysis; creation of a multiple criteria decision support system to be used in computer-aided multivariant design of a building life cysle, determining the value and utility of the alternative versions obtained and setting the priorities; analysis of micro-and macro-level enviromment factors influencing a building life cycle and possibilities to alter them in a desired direction. The stages named described in more detail in paper.eng
